Best Schools in Colorado Springs
Despite being a much less populous city than Denver, Colorado Springs is still one of Colorado’s most important and top rated cities. Rated quite high when it comes to housing, industry, jobs, businesses and overall living conditions, Colorado Springs is a great place to move to with the entire family, especially since it’s also close to some exciting mountainside locations.
The friendly communities in and around the city, however, would not be complete without some of the distinguished schools that Colorado Springs is home to. While there are more than two dozen school districts in and around the city, three of them stand out as some of the most highly rated academic institutions you will find here.
The Cheyenne Mountain 12 school district schools are rated at the top of the list by most experts, both when it comes to the conditions they offer students (spending, on average $7,106 per student) and the curriculum. Parents are usually quite impressed by this school district, which holds a total of more than 4,000 students.
The other two school districts that are rated close to 10/10 are Lewis-Palmer and the Academy 20 school district. Both these districts are located near the northern suburbs of Colorado Springs and are rated extremely high, the latter featuring four schools that have received a maximum rating due to the support they provide for their students.
